Remember that humans concocted up the images we have as angels today -
pudgy little babies with fluffy wings, tall men with flowing long blonde hair
attired in floor length shiny robes and so on.
An angel is a luminous messenger
from God which has the ability to take whatever form is most appropriate for
the situation at hand.
Angels can appear
as any age, any gender, any race and any level of social stature. You will know it was an angel because your
life will never be the same.
What an angel looks like to you may be entirely different than one would
look to your best friend or neighbor. The messenger is intended for you – for
you to understand – and your culture, past experiences, and beliefs are
different from those of your friend or neighbor. So it only stands to reason
that your angel may also be very different from theirs.
